Top tips for this section
The question will always have the same introduction. 'You have been asked to improve the fitness and skills of a
group of AS level physical education students' You need to IGNORE this introduction as it has no relevance to the answer.
The question is marked using 'banded marking' this means that although the question is worth 12 marks, the mark scheme is actually much bigger, it is approx. 20 points. So this question is very different to the amount of marks awarded in Section A.
You should aim to write 10 points for each part of the question, so 10 for physiology and 10 for skill.
If you only answer one half of the question you can not be awardee the additional QWC (Quality of written content)mark
You MUST write in sentences in this section you CAN NOT bullet point. HOWEVER!! You do need to write FACTS IN SENTENCES!
For each sentence you write think 'Where is the key word? What will get me a mark?' if it doesn't have one- don't write it!
You do not write you opinion in this section, you do not write you own personal experiences in this section- just write the FACTS!!
You can get full marks in this section in half a page of writing if you are smart.
The examiner must be able to read you writing! Sounds silly but really try to keep your writing neat in this section.
